The 160 attendees originated from 41 countries: 42% from America, 25% from Africa, 20% from Europe, 8% from Asia, 5% from Oceania.

Participants came from diverse backgrounds: 47% from science, 21% students, 10% agronomists, 9% farmers, and 13% others (NGOs, government and private sector)

The Best Presentation awards went to Emily Murphy (East Prince Agri-Environment Association (EPAA), Canada), Subha Srinivasagan (Cornell University, US) and Tom Allen-Stevens (British On-Farm Innovation Network, UK).

Outputs from the conference were gathered in the Proceedings published on Cornell University’s eCommons.

The objective of the conference was to continue assembling and showcasing a global body of knowledge on OFE and its latest developments, within and across relevant disciplinary fields, from theory to practice.

To achieve this, the conference provided a platform for researchers and practitioners to exchange on the different ways they move forward.
