The conference took place from Dec. 5-7th 2023 in a virtual format.

We had 160 participants from 41 countries (42% from America; 25% from Africa; 20% from Europe; 8% from Asia; 5% from Oceania)

Participants came from a diversity of backgrounds (47% from science, 21% students, 10% agronomists, 9% farmers, and others in NGO, government, and private sector)

Two days of presentations

One day of workshop to launch GOFEN

The Best Presentation awards go to Emily Murphy (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada), Subha Srinivasagan (Cornell University), and Tom Allen-Stevens (British On-Farm Innovation Network).

Outputs from the conference are currently being processed toward the publication of the Proceedings.

#OFE2023 builds on the success of #OFE2021 that gathered 180 participants and over 100 authorial teams across 36 countries. This first conference by convened hybrid in Montpellier by INRAE and ISPA, with the support of sponsors including the OECD-CRP.

OFE Webinar

The #OFE2023 conference will continue to connect OFE stakeholders across the world and to progress the OFE sciences.

The objective is to assemble and showcase a global body of knowledge on the latest OFE developments, within and across relevant disciplinary fields, from theory to practice.

To achieve this, the conference will provide a platform for OFE researchers and practitioners to exchange on the different ways they move forward.
